When your pet needs medical care, it is comforting to know who will be meeting their needs. We are a family that is genuinely concerned about the welfare of your pets and will care for each of them as we would our own.
Dr. Keith A. Bailey is a 1984 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he worked in Mannford, OK. After a stint in Whitesburg, KY as the veterinarian for Letcher County in the Appalachian Mountains, he returned to Tulsa to practice with his father, Dr. R. E. Bailey, a 1965 OSU Vet Med graduate.
When Dr. Bailey is out of the office he enjoys speaking at Veterinary Conferences. He also dabbles in gardening, brewing, and restoring muscle cars.
When Melissa is out of the office she enjoys the company of the Bailey’s children (Brian, Stephanie, Lisa, David and Amy) and their first grandchild, the lovely Claire Marie.
She also tends to the family and clinic pets; 2 dogs (Beagley & Lady Bug), 6 cats (Trout, Lula Bell, Spinner, Crème Puff, Little Girl, and Poppy), 7 ducks, and 1 ferret (Chong).
David Bailey is in his third year at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He works with us during summer and school breaks. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at OSU. And, yes, he is the third generation of veterinarians in the Bailey family. In those rare moments when he does have some spare time, David enjoys target practice, pleasure reading and the History channel.
Trout is our full-time greeter. He likes to make sure everyone gets a chance to visit with him; even if it means walking across your checkbook while you write.
Beagley is our part-time greeter. He has a favorite chair that allows him to monitor the walking trail across the street. He’s quick to let us know when someone is there.
Lady Bug likes to stick close to “mom” and is usually under the front desk. She has a few favorite clients that she likes to come out to greet.
